Factory Underground Tech is a nationally accredited Secondary Institute for Music and Film Technology. Our diverse curriculum includes courses in music production, studio recording, audio engineering, as well as videography production arts. Our flagship accredited certificate course is offered in two 20-week semesters, and is geared toward individuals desiring a professional career in the fields of Music, Recording, or Media Arts.

 

We also have a secondary educational track called our Artist Mentorship Program. This unique program geared toward creative artists who want to develop their own projects through the course, under the guidance of an instructor who helps you improve in the areas you want to focus on. We also offer various elective courses such as vocal production, songwriting, radio and broadcasting, podcast production, and live sound engineering.

All of our courses combine traditional learning with hands-on project experience. We help students build their resumes in real time, gaining actual production credits while they learn. We don't just teach you about recording, mixing and making content - we teach you to actually do it on a professional level. 

 

Our 15,000 square foot education and recording facility is located at 16 Isaac Street, off of Wall Street in the Historic Arts District of Norwalk, CT.  We have easy-parking available for students and parents. Our lessons are taught in a professional recording studio environment, with a spacious, Wifi-equipped lounge available to parents and students.
